Listen, I know I’m super late to the game on this one, but GAH! It was so worth it. I loveeeeedddddd!
The Friend Zone by ABby Jimenez
Kristen Petersen doesn’t do drama, will fight to the death for her friends, and has no room in her life for guys who just don’t get her. She’s also keeping a big secret: facing a medically necessary procedure that will make it impossible for her to have children.
Planning her best friend’s wedding is bittersweet for Kristen—especially when she meets the best man, Josh Copeland. He’s funny, sexy, never offended by her mile-wide streak of sarcasm, and always one chicken enchilada ahead of her hangry. Even her dog, Stuntman Mike, adores him. The only catch: Josh wants a big family someday. Kristen knows he’d be better off with someone else, but as their attraction grows, it’s harder and harder to keep him at arm’s length.
The Friend Zone will have you laughing one moment and grabbing for tissues the next as it tackles the realities of infertility and loss with wit, heart, and a lot of sass.
One of the best books I’ve read this year! Listen, I know I’m super late to the game on this one, but GAH! It was so worth it. I loveeeeedddddd!
The Friend Zone broke my heart and pieced it back together again. Abby Jimenez’s debut novel took me a roller coaster ride of emotions. From the highest high to the lowest low, I was here for every single twist and turn! What a wild and thrilling ride!
This book has everything I never knew I wanted in a romance: a psycho puppy, hot mess best friends, a shotgun wedding, and more crazy family shenanigans than Christmas breakfast with my clan. But at the end of of at all, this hard fought battle these two wage ends with a beautiful resolution. A true feat by this talented author. I laughed, cried, and ended up completely enchanted by this emotional and entertaining read! Josh and Kristen’s path to love was not uncomplicated, but it was perfect nonetheless. Aside from Kristen’s stubbornness going a little longer than I was comfortable with, this book was stunningly perfect. It deserves all five stars!
