CORINA’S REVIEW

Just to be upfront, TANGLED LIKE US didn’t reach the epicness of Farrow and Moffy’s relationship. And the reason for that is simple, neither Jane nor Thatcher have the same charismatic and all consuming personalities that Farrow and Moffy have. Farrow and Moffy’s banter is EPIC. Their back and forth, and their oneupmanship is beyond amazing. So, topping it could be classified as impossible. Their relationship is, if I may say so – as cool and unique as Rose and Connor’s.

Now, let’s get to Jane and Thatcher.

They have a sweet romance, great sex, a deeply and emotionally relationship that feels satisfying but still left me a little hanging at the end, because their story is clearly not finished. It helps to know that their story will continue in book five, but I would have loved to read on. Because Jane deserves all the happiness she can find, and I’m glad that Thatcher is the one to protect her and to give her anything she desires. They are a sweet couple, and I greatly enjoyed their story.

One of my favorites things was having the entire crew together. But I feel like the two townhouses are getting a little too crowded. They should have already bought a third neighboring house by now, because the number of occupants has gone through the roof. It’s a little insane if I’m honest – 900 sq ft is all I’m saying.

I’m still a HUGE Cobalt fan and the Cobalts are still my favorite family. And I’m slightly in love with their family dinners – one word EPIC!!!! By now, Charlie and Beckett are some of my favorite characters. I have more questions about them then any others. And I really hope they’ll get their stories too. Also I can’t wait to read Akara and Sully’s story – we all know Akara is massively in denial, so this will be an interesting journey for him. The little glimpse into Luna and Donnelly was very INTERESTING!!! I’m not sure where it’s all going, but it was entertaining nevertheless.

There are so many stories that are still waiting to be told. At this point, this series is one of my all time favorites, and I can only applaud the authors for delivering every single time.

BLURB

Jane Cobalt is an American princess. The loyal and painfully curious twenty-three-year-old has inherited immense pressure to preserve the Cobalt legacy. But for Jane — sex, love, and life have been a series of royal failures.

After a friends-with-benefits ended in disaster, she’s sworn to a “no sex” hiatus for, well, eternity — and she has no intention of letting anyone in her bed and definitely not her heart.

Twenty-eight-year-old Thatcher Moretti is painfully professional. As the stern 24/7 bodyguard to Jane, thinking about unbridled sex with his sweet client is a sin. One that he keeps committing.

But the real act is a hard line he’d never cross.

When a family member betrays Jane’s trust, the media becomes obsessed with matchmaking the perpetually “single” Jane Cobalt and unwanted attention suddenly compromises her safety.

Thatcher would do anything to protect her, and one solution may level the threats:

Become the fake boyfriend to an American princess.

Entwined together with boiling chemistry, new “professional” parameters, and an oath, unsaid feelings threaten to rise and change everything.

    1. I’m glad I’m not alone! It’s hard to pinpoint what it was. But I agree something was missing. Still, it somehow fit Jane. But I’m really looking forward to their second book!
