When I read the blurb I knew that I would enjoy this novella.

It was sweet and swoony.

Kyler Tate, after signing a contract with a football team in Los Angeles, traveled to his hometown to convince his highschool sweetheart to give them another chance. After four years of being apart, he realized that a life without Bree Sutton was no life at all. For Kyler it had always been the plan to marry Bree. They belonged together. She just had to be convinced about that.

And convincing her he did. In a very sweet and all-American kind of way.

Small town America does it for me every single time.

Bree and Kyler had been THE couple in high-school. There had not been any doubt for anyone that they belonged together. Only when it was time for both of them to go to college, Bree decided to stay and help her dad with their family and business.

It broke their hearts.

The love and devotion that Kyler felt for Bree and vice versa was palpable. Even though Bree and Kyler hadn’t been around each other much during the last four years, NOTHING had changed about their feelings for each other. Leaving had paused their relationship, but never destroyed their love.

I adored this novella. It was one of those happy, feel-good books that just work for me. Tessa Bailey is a wonderful writer, who is known for her sexy novels. I love her quick-witted characters and captivating plot lines.
