I bought two paperbacks this month – YAY!!! (that’s pretty awesome since I’m a devoted Kindle reader=)
Sparrow and Vicious from LJ Shen.
They’ll come with me to the Golden Gate Authors Event in San Francisco to be signed. I honestly can’t wait. It’s my first author event EVER so I’m super excited.
I read a good amount of books this month – don’t ask me the number, I don’t count anymore. My Goodreads challenge keeps track of my overall numbers (I’m at 59 books, 14 books ahead of schedule, and 20% into my challenge).
From the many books I read in February these books really stood out ….
PUCKED OFF by Helena Hunting (my review here)
Lance was absolutely adorable – of course only in the most manly and swoony kind of way.:D
Fake Fiancée by Ilsa Madden-Mills (review here)
Fake Fiancée was a wonderful read, excellent plot, wonderful characters, I really enjoyed it!! So much that I would recommend it to anyone that likes to read solid love-stories with mature and deeply layered characters.
Dirty Filthy Rich Boys (Dirty Duet 0.5) by Laurelin Paige (my review is here)
This book almost gave me a heart attack!! And to think that it was only a TEASER!!!!
Amour Amour (Aerial Ethereal) by Krista Ritchie, Becca Ritchie (review here)
Love their books – I have too wait much too long for each book, so in between I’ll reread some of my favorites. The sisters have a wonderful writing style and just fabulously unique plots and fascinating three dimensional characters.
Real Good Man & Real Good Love by Meghan March (review here)
I fell in love with Meghan March’s books this month. I think I must have read 8 books so far and I can’t wait to read her latest coming out in March – Take Me Back.
I had a couple disappointments as well. Books that were hyped to no end and naturally came with high expectations but just couldn’t deliver. I either didn’t get into the plot or couldn’t connect with the characters. It’s incredibly hard to admit such disappointments especially if those books were written by favorite authors – it’s almost like I let them down – sigh!
