Book Review – Dashing through the Snow: A Sexy, Snowy Christmas Tale by M. Leighton

4 stars

A perfect read for a snowy day. Or if no snow available, a great way to get into the spirit of Christmas.

qd6wfm-989nwr89imquncy_jw2fu03uoni6zhr1owyaIt’s always been a dream of mine to spend Christmas in a cabin or cottage in the snow. Cuddled underneath a blanket in front of a fire. Reading, having sex, more reading.:-) Of course a gorgeous guy can’t be missing.

That’s pretty much what happened to Dilyn Hart. As a journalist, she was sent to interview a famous champion snowboarder for an exclusive. In Colorado, during winter, right before a snowstorm hit the mountains.

Dilyn Hart, already hated Christmas, having to interview a “professional playboy” over the holidays was not something she was looking forward to. Add an ex-boyfriend, now boss, to the mix and it’s destined to become a tangle of feelings that she was not prepared for.

Dash Grainger, adrenaline junkie, always looking for the next high did not expect to find such a beautiful journalist in his A-frame cottage right before a snowstorm. He is immediatly enamored by her. Pretty quickly, passions are high, s’mores are even sweeter, and feelings are being explored.

One night of passion, love, and intense chemistry.

The next morning a surprise knocked on the door.

I really enjoyed this novella. It was an easy, and light read. Perfect for a rainy/snowy afternoon. Dashing through the Snow: A Sexy, Snowy Christmas Tale made me want to pack my suitcase and hide out in a cabin in the snow. Dash and Dilyn’s romance was intense. The entire book was fast paced and well written. Even so the book was a novella, I thought the characters were very well written and had a good amount of substance. I loved the idea of being snowed in with a gorgeous guy. I just wish, they had a few more days to get to know each other.
