Book Review – Co-Wrecker by Meghan Quinn

OMG – Lovable and sexy nerd ALERT!!!

What do ice cream and Sadie Montgomery have in common? They’re both ice cold, but one taste is never enough.

I wanted to be friends — I would have even settled for her seeing me as anything but a nerd — but there was no getting through. So just like any hard-headed, red-blooded man out there, I made up my mind.

I’d make my coworker fall for me.

I’d like to say it was simple, but like every other epic love story, all it took was one drunken night and a lot of naked courage to get the girl. For a moment, at least.

Love with a coworker is never simple, especially since Sadie’s trying to keep us on the low. Not to mention her persistent ex-boyfriend who won’t leave her alone. But I’ve never been good at giving up, and I don’t plan to start now.

The whole thing is a recipe for a rocky road, but I plan to eat the whole gallon, no matter how bad the brain freeze.

This book was ADORABLE!!!!

Andrew, the computer geek/nerd with a dirty mind and mouth was absolutely ADORABLE!

Co-Wrecker was my first book by Meghan Quinn, and it certainly won’t be the last, because her writing hooked me from the very first page.

Not only did she create wonderful characters – especially ANDREW – she also wrote an utterly entertaining as well as emotional rom-com. Co-Wrecker had so many laugh out loud moments. I was mostly smiling while reading and whenever Andrew opened his mouth and I was cracking up.

When Andrew met Sadie the very first time, she was supposed to train him how to scoop ice cream the most efficient way. Sadie hated to be stuck behind the ice cream counter, especially since she couldn’t keep her eyes off Andrew. Grumpy Sadie was a challenge for Andrew and he made it his mission to make her smile. Sadie might have been a hard shell to crack but NO ONE could keep a serious face while listening to this adorable nerd, with a body and face to swoon over. Andrew was such a sweet guy, and sooooo sexy.

Sometimes he was so over the top hilarious, just to get a reaction from Sadie.

Sadie was a very private person and she was not interested in making new friends nor falling in love. But after meeting Andrew she was powerless towards his charm, the easiness, comfort and peacefulness she felt around him. All those things were missing in her life.

There were so many things I loved about Andrew, here are just a few:

He was a computer nerd, with glasses à la Clark Kent.

He had a dirty mind and filthy mouth when it came to Sadie.

He said the most adorable things.

He was the only guy rooming with 5 basketball Amazonian women that didn’t know what privacy meant – which made for some HILARIOUS situations!

And he had a sexy body and face, was called the CANNON COCK, and he was good in bed – PERFECTION!!!

Andrew should have received an award for his patience with Sadie. He was so considerate and compassionate towards her. That girl kept her heart closed off until it was almost too late. BUT eventually she got her act together and emerged stronger and ready to tackle her bright future with Andrew.

For me this book was almost perfect! I adored it, it made me smile, and I LOVED the characters. BRAVO Meghan Quinn you got me hooked!!

    1. I adored Co-Wrecker. I liked his nerdy side and her no-nonsense kind of attitude. I liked it so much that I decided to read the authors next book and it was a HUGE disappointment. I have NOT touched another book of hers. That’s just me, but it looks like for me personally Co-Wrecker was a one-hit wonder. I can only recommend that you’ll get it from the library if possible, or wait until its on sale. Have you read any of her other books?
