TIJUANA’S REVIEW

I’ll never get tired of these stories. Suzanne Wright could write a million more and I’d read every single one! I couldn’t believe my luck when I realized this sexy gem was actually “read and listen free” in Kindle Unlimited! That’s freaking amazing!!

For whatever reason, I didn’t expect Trick’s story to be so sweet. I swooned so much. He’s such a thoughtful and sweet mate. Gah! Love him! He just jumped to my second favorite alpha of the bunch. No one will ever top Trey. IJS!

Here’s the breakdown: Frankie Newman is unaware she has long lost family until a phone call from her aunt leads her to question the connection. The revelation of family she never knew existed sets off a series of events that changes her life drastically. In the best ways.

What I loved:

Errmmm….Trick. See above. LOL Seriously he was unbelievably amazing. The insta factor is always a favorite of mine, as well. Trick is protective, thoughtful, caring, and so much more grounded than I anticipated. I love those types of sweet surprises.
The plot is well planned, though it teensy bit convoluted at the end.
It is obviously HOT AF, cause that’s the author’s MO. She excels at delivering a fantastic PNR romance that will set kindles ablaze….each and every time!

My only real issue with this story is that fact that is was repetitive in place. Like…noticeably repetitive. I would have preferred a shorter version than hearing the same thing multiple times.
Other than that, this is another superb addition. I’m already looking forward to more!

Recommended!

BLURB

When half–wolf shifter Frankie Newman receives an e-mail from a family member she didn’t know existed, a secret is revealed: as a child, Frankie witnessed her father killing her mother…and then himself. Frankie was torn from her pack by her mother’s human relatives, and the trauma was erased from her memory. Realizing that she’s been lied to her entire life, she’s never felt more alone. Until she catches the scent of an old friend—warmly familiar and intoxicating.

Trick Hardy, enforcer of the Phoenix Pack, can sense the rush of mutual attraction when he sees Frankie again. He knows immediately that she’s his true mate. But he also knows that, given her fragile state, he needs to tread with care—no matter how fierce his surging desires.

As aroused as Frankie is by Trick’s darkly dominant air and simmering desire, her priority right now is her past—not her future, no matter how tempting. But as more secrets emerge and Frankie’s life is threatened, Trick must do everything he can to keep her close and safe. After all, it’s their destiny.
