TIJUANA’S REVIEW

Willow Winters just Damaged and Scarred my heart.

But guess what…I loved every moment of it!! Gah! Evan and Kat’s story is her best yet! The angst, the drama. The mystery, the danger. I. Could. Not. Get. Enough! I can’t wait to devour the entire series! I hope Jake’s story is in the line-up soon. I fell in love with him!

I learned a couple things while reading Scarred.

  1. Willow Winters is a dealer. Angst junkies! Line up now for your next fix.
  2. Mason is still the shit! If you haven’t read Imperfect and Unforgiven, get them now. He’s fucking awesome and can lock me in room anytime! 😭😍
  3. When you’re on page 2 of a book and already passed out, shit is about to get real.

  1. I really am a drama-whore. Hmmm….who knew!

So…about the book.

The story picks up exactly where Book 1 left off and we find Evan in the middle of the biggest mess ever. I won’t go into details since I don’t want to spoil the story, but if you read book 1, you’ll be pleased. The central theme overall is how much is too much? Both main characters face their own trials and tribulations and have the reader guessing throughout, “what on earth is going to happen?” I was on the edge of my seat and couldn’t flip the pages fast enough.

Very well written and positively my new favorite by Willow Winters! The cover is sexy, the plot is exceptional, and the writing is solid! It’s a winner!

Recommended for readers who enjoy a dash of angst and heavy dose of intrigue with their romance.

BLURB

She made me a better man, but I still wasn’t good enough to keep her.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, with sleeve tattoos, ripped muscle and a cold-hearted stare, I am who I am.  The bad boy she knew to stay away from.

I knew we were never supposed to last.  But the way her lips tasted, the way her curves felt under my hands…  I couldn’t let go. I did everything I could to keep her.

I put on a ring on her finger and straightened out my life.  All for her.

I should’ve known better.

One mistake tore us apart and I don’t know what I can do to salvage what we once had.

I knew it wasn’t supposed to last, but if I could make her stay with me once…  I can do it again.

Watch me. I love my sweetheart; I’m not losing her again.

Although Scarred can be read as a standalone, it’s highly advised that you read the first book in the duet, Damaged, first.

GOODREADS

I actually started writing after having my little girl, Evie, December of 2015. All during my pregnancy with her I read. I only wanted to read smut and I read EVERYTHING. I would read a book a day — sometimes two. In January I was staying up late with her and just thinking of all these stories. They came to me constantly. And I finally sat down and just started writing. I always wanted to do it so I figured, why not?

I never thought I would reach this point of success to be honest. It’s insane to me that I have so many fans. And I love each and every one of them for all of their support. I’ll be honest, some days are HARD. I have my two littles (Jax who’s two and a half and Evie who just turned one!) during the day and I write at night. Some days are just simply exhausting and then I hear from a fan and it makes me want to push through and keep writing. And I do. I promise I won’t stop!

If you enjoy sexy as f*ck and dangerous men getting into trouble for the women they fall for, then you’ll love my books. I like my action hot and my bad boys hotter. And I don’t hold back on either one in my writing.

  1. Willow is the freaking queen of angst. Her books always leave me drained in the best way possible. I still need to read these and I’m so glad to hear you loved it. My TBR is going to kill me it’s so big!!😭😭😭
