CORINA’S REVIEW

I’ve been waiting for this book for the last three years, and I’m happy to report, the wait was so worth it. Sarina Bowen gave Becca and Nate an amazing and satisfying story.

This friends to lovers romance was all kinds of wonderful.

Becca and Nate were the best example of the friends to lovers trope. They’ve known each other for seven years, and worked closely with each other for years. Trusted each others, and knew one another like no other. They enjoyed each others company, and had the most adorable nerdy tendencies. And then came the SEX – and OMG those two were HOT!!!

Nate, was as awesome as I remembered. He was this cool as a cucumber nerd. Highly intelligent, rich, and secretly in love with his office manager. On top of that, Nate was incredibly sweet, caring and sensitive. He listened, took care of Becca, and gave her space when needed. And he was unequivocally in love with Becca. As soon as the cat was out of the bag, he moved forward, and had only one goal in mind – making Becca his.

Becca, much more conscious about what the public and everyone else would think, made Nate sweat buckets and caused him more than one time blue balls. I loved Becca from the very beginning, but even more so after reading Brooklynaire. She was wonderfully unique, vibrant, and herself, a genuine person that was delightful and the perfect partner for Nate.

Whenever they were together their friendship shone like a beacon. Real, deep, and entirely reciprocated. Their sexual tension was palpable and sizzling hot. As soon as they decided to give in and enjoy each other and their desires, they couldn’t keep their hands to themselves. But their time together never took away from the story, it actually enhanced it, and showed how potent their chemistry and attraction was.

I love how the author allowed them to have their own life, job, and didn’t have have them attached to each other 24/7, that’s just never realistic. And because of that, it made for a much more believable progression of their relationship.

Brooklynaire was as delightful as I hoped it would be. And I’m immensely happy with the outcome!! Bravo!!

BLURB

A sexy new standalone from USA Today bestseller Sarina Bowen.

You’d think a billion dollars, a professional hockey team and a six-bedroom mansion on the Promenade would satisfy a guy. You’d be wrong.

For seven years Rebecca has brightened my office with her wit and her smile. She manages both my hockey team and my sanity. I don’t know when I started waking in the night, craving her. All I know is that one whiff of her perfume ruins my concentration. And her laugh makes me hard.

When Rebecca gets hurt, I step in to help. It’s what friends do. But what friends don’t do is rip off each others’ clothes for a single, wild night together.

Now she’s avoiding me. She says we’re too different, and it can never happen again. So why can’t we keep our hands off each other?
