Book Review – Fallen Crest Home (Fallen Crest High #6) by Tijan

Emotional. Raw. And so much FEELING!!!!

It’s been years since my mother was in my life.
I healed.
I learned to accept love.
I lived.
That’s all done. She was away, and now she’s back.
I avoided her for a year and a half, but I couldn’t hide anymore.
Mason had an internship in Fallen Crest, so we headed back for the summer.
And when we got there—no one was prepared for what happened.

Fallen Crest has been one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE series by this author and overall. From the very first book, and ever since I have been falling in love with Sam, Mason and Logan. I adored how they grew to one UNIT. And over the last 6 books I had the feeling I was part of their journey.

Together we went through touch, emotional and heart-breaking times as well as joyous and happy moments. One think I’ve learned so far –  Sam, Mason and Logan can withstand anything that’s been thrown at them. Together they are incredibly strong. They can endure anything as long as they have each other.

Honestly, the relationship that Sam, Mason and Logan have is unique. I think that’s one of the reasons why I’m so drawn to this series.  With each book my love for them grows. With each book I’m more deeply invested. And each book makes me care and love them even more.

In Fallen Crest Home, Sam and Mason were back home for the summer. Mason was supposed to start an internship with his dad, and Sam was trying to mentally prepare herself for her mother’s wedding.

Sam, clearly not happy with the situation, was trying to get the wedding and all it’s festivities as fast as possible over with. From the very first chapter I felt her tension radiate from the pages. Sam herself recognized it but wasn’t able to put a name to the source of her unease.

Mason, as attuned as he was to Sam, realized something was up as well but didn’t push her, just kept an eye on her. As always he was her ROCK, her shoulder to lean on, the one person she could depend on, trust, and relay on. Mason turned into the most perfect boyfriend anyone could imagine.

I felt book 6 brought home the fact that everything could implode in a moments time. One wrong step, word, action and everything worked for could be gone. Before, Mason and Logan were pretty much exempt of any repercussions, but suddenly not anymore.

Their actions could impact their future in a BIG way!!

Because of that I had the feeling that everything was so much more raw and vibrant. Feelings leaped of the pages. Sam and Mason had reasons to keep things on the down low but not everyone around them felt the same.

Enemies lurked everywhere – and Fallen Crest Home made it crystal clear that even the mighty Mason wasn’t invincible.

FCH gutted me!!!

I can only hope that everything will be resolved in Fallen Crest Forever. I have so many questions, and such hope that everything will work out. It’s hard to believe and stomach that the Fallen Crest series might come to an end with book 7. How am I supposed to say goodbye to Sam, Mason and Logan??????

I thought the author did a fabulous job with FCH. The plot was complex, layered and an emotional rollercoaster. Right now, I can’t wait for May 16th to come – every week I have to wait is upping the tension and expectations. Oh the wait is killing me!!!
