Book Review – Baby, Come Back (Bad Boy Romance #2) by Molly O’Keefe

One word – FANTASTIC!!!!

A MAN WITH NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE

I sold my soul a long time ago to pay my father’s debts. Now my life is a prison: no friends. No family. Nothing it would hurt to lose.

I never should’ve touched Abby. I tried not to, but she is beautiful, magnetic, sexy. Everything I want but can’t let myself have.

UNTIL HE MET HER

She seduced me not knowing who I was or what I really do in the shadows. I should have resisted her, but I wanted to be the man Abby thought I was for as long as I could.

But all debts must be paid, sooner or later. And mine are paid with blood.

Now Abby knows who I am, what I am, and she’s run from me.

I would have let her go for her own good. But when I find out she’s carrying my baby — there’s nowhere she can hide…

Baby, Come Back is a full-length contemporary romance and the sequel to Bad Neighbor.

This one was a wonderful and fantastic surprise!!

I got the book Sunday afternoon and wasn’t able to start reading until evening – BIG MISTAKE!! I barely started before I had to put it down again. So my Monday was pretty much predetermined. I read at home, in bed, on the way to work, at work, on the kindle, on my phone  – EVERYWHERE.

I couldn’t put it down.

I have read almost all of her Everything I Left Unsaid series, and jumped into Bad Boy Romance without having read book 1 and guess what!!!! It didn’t matter because both books happen at the same time – YAY!!!

So, as I already mentioned I loved the book.

It was a bit dark, a lot of sweet, interesting, captivating and it kept me glued to the pages even when I had other stuff to do. OOPS!

There was so much sexual tension going on. Dark secrets that weren’t supposed to be spoken about. And it had a wonderful vulnerable hero and a strong but sometimes insecure heroine. Both were flawed characters which worked perfectly for the story, because they needed each other in more than one way.

I must say I like Molly O’Keefe’s writing style.

Sometimes it just clicks.

I love how raw and emotional her characters come across. Her books pack a punch and hit me where it counts. The author has been able to draw me in EVERY SINGLE TIME. Whatever book I read, it’s the same.

She made me truly care about Jack and Abby. Jack was such an amazing character. Smart, devoted, selfless and a truly great guy. I think he surprised me the most. And it was so easy to fall in love with him. Abby, a unique character herself, confident but sometimes insecure, was quite fascinating in her own rights. She was incredibly strong when it was needed and gave Jack the necessary reason to take the step and ask for what he wanted.

I loved, loved, loved the epilogue.

I know I’m doing it backwards but I’ll be reading Bad Neighbor (Bad Boy Romance #1) next.
