Book Review – Behind His Lens by R.S. Grey

**Recommended for ages 17+ due to language and sexual situations.**

Model meets photographer with a strict “no model” dating policy.  Throw them together and wickedness ensues.  Jude, photographer with a bit of personal baggage, is attracted from the very first moment he sets eyes on Charley.  Charley, part-time model and full-time painter with some personal baggage as well, feels their mutual attraction on her very first photoshoot with Jude.  Neither acts on it until they both fly to Hawaii to commence a swimsuit magazine cover shoot.  At that point all bets are off.

Opinion:

I really liked Behind His Lens.  I always thought storylines about photographers, models and the industry were very fascinating.  The book was an easy and very enjoyable read.

I thought it was fitting that Jude was a bit more hesitant at the beginning. Which made sense. Dating models, and having to deal with the breakup later on will turn a workplace into a mine field. Of course the attraction won out.  And as soon as Jude manned up he went after what he wanted.  I loved that he didn’t care at all about what other people might think about their connection.  He was wonderfully confident to  not heed how their relationship might be perceived by fellow photographer and models.  I adore that in a H – have the balls and go for it, life is way too short. So, he went after Charley, even though her baggage stirred up some drama in the end.

I also have to mention that the other models weren’t bitchy at all.  So, all in all there wasn’t much I didn’t like about this book.
