A new stand alone enemies-to-lovers romance by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…
I spent six weeks screwing Austin Wright’s brains out and all I got was this broken heart.
He can’t be trusted. Not with my body or my heart. Yet, two years have passed and I still crave him like an addict needing a fix.
The last time we tried this, it nearly ruined me. I know I should run and never look back. But his dark haunted eyes and razor blade smile speak to my soul. His touch sets my body on fire. And we all know what happens when you light gasoline. Someone is bound to get burned.
A second chance might destroy us both.
Because everyone knows two wrongs don’t make a Wright.
Now this….is my jam! I am beyond impressed by this release! It’s an emotional, gut-wrenching, and heart-pounding read. Seriously, all the feels were felt people. I’m an emotional read junkie and this one checked all my boxes. It’s definitely the best of the series.
Here’s the breakdown:
If you’ve read the previous books in the series, you’re well-aware of Austin’s problem and his reputation with women. Actually, if you paid close attention, you’ve had a glimpse into his relationship with Julia. The facts are that they dated and it didn’t turn out quite as expected. They each have emotional issues with some pretty significant consequences, but their chemistry is OFF. THE. CHARTS. HOT!
Here’s what I FLOVED:
The characters are flawed. Each of them deal with an issue or circumstance that’s emotionally charged. Some of the issues are real difficult, but also relatable. I enjoyed the pull on my emotional heartstrings.
The main characters were a lot of fun. At the beginning of the novel, the situation between Julia and Austin was strained at best, but their relationship developed beautifully over the course of the novel. Character development and relationship development were the definite highlights of this one.
The storyline and plot are intriguing and engaging. I was sucked in from the first sentence and didn’t put it down until the very last. It’s unexpected and extremely entertaining.
The plot twists were fantastic! One in particular caught me off guard and added an even bigger emotional punch. Man, I was in tears for much of it but I loved every single second!
Overall, I give The Wright Mistake two thumbs up! K. A. Linde wowed in this installment of the series. I was blown away and can’t wait until the next release. I’ll be on pins and needles until it drops.
