BLURB

They meet on a beach. . . . Abby Davis isn’t wearing a skimpy bikini or sipping umbrella drinks, not when she’s busy chasing around four little ones. And Matt McKinney isn’t looking for fun—he’s a Navy SEAL, a grown man with a long list of missions . . . and fallen brothers.

They only have a week. . . . Abby has brought her children to this beach to start over, to give them the enjoyable memories they deserve. Matt’s been sidelined by a combat injury, and haunted by the best friend he lost and the promise he made: to remain a SEAL—focused and dedicated. This leaves no time for what he’s always wanted: a family.

But a week is all it takes. . . . Matt opens her heart while Abby soothes his soul. And though they plan to say good-bye when the week is over, something magical happens on that beach, something neither can forget. Something utterly, completely worth falling for.

CORINA’S REVIEW

Worth the Fall has been one of my absolute favorite books ever since I read it the first time 3 years ago. EVERYTHING in this book worked for me.

It was one of the MOST romantic books I ever read.

And yes, you heard me right – R O M A N T I C!!!!

From the very beginning this story touched my heart, made me smile so hard, and sigh and swoon with every page. I NEVER read a book that was as swoony, tender and loving as Worth the Fall. The author set the bar high – incredibly high if you ask me, because this book can’t be topped!!!

Matt, s NAVY seal – buff, strong, commanding, someone used to action, adrenalin and danger on a medical leave, met a pregnant woman with four kids at the beach. Lured in by the kids, Matt started to spent more and more time with Abby and her kids. And they ended up spending the rest of their beach vacation together.

The stolen glances, brushing hands, tender looks, loving embraces – that’s what made this story a work of beauty. The way the author wrote their time on the beach will always be my FAVORITE part of the entire novel. So dreamy and swoony!!!

Of course the week on the beach came to an end and Matt and Abby had to say goodbye. After they went their separate ways, the yearning and longing for the other was palpable and heart-achingly beautiful. Fortunately it didn’t take them long to realize that what they had was special. And gradually over weeks and month they somehow managed to merge their lives.

Worth the Fall was a story that made me feel GOOD!!! It was picture perfect.

The kids stole the show, but with four children and a fifth on the way, there was always something going on and the way Matt was with them was the epitome of perfect. Honestly, Matt was the guy that made this book AMAZING!!! He was this overwhelmingly strong presence. He knew his mind and quickly realized that what he found in Abby was something he needed to hold on. He was patient, but also determined to win the woman he loved. He was a real dream guy – perfectly imperfect.

I can’t praise this book enough.

Truly and honestly, if you love a good romance – and I mean a REAL romance with heart and soul. A love story that deserves the name. This is the book for you.

Worth the Fall is one of my all time favorite books. I have only 10 books I read again and again -and this one is one of them. I read it whenever I feel down. Or in a funk. Or just want to read something incredibly swoony. Worth the Fall is my go-to book and everyone should at least try it once.

♡♡♡♡♡
